We did all the sheet metal work in this 53 Chevy. The Pans, the Firewall, and the Transmission Tunnel. We mocked up the motor and transmission.
We cut the entire floor out, trunk pan, and the convertible compartment. Where the convertible top sets we reconstructed all of the sheet metal.
Everything was built on an Art Morrison Chassis. The trunk pan was installed in three different sections. We bead rolled it for aesthetics.
We mini tubbed it to accommodate a wider tire. We made the transmission tunnel to go all the way back, to get the car lower and have clearance for the
transmission and driveshaft. We welded in 1 by 2 square tubing for seat mounts, and altered the dash to fit the column.
